For Autumn/Winter 2011/2012: We are delighted to offer Irish winter cereal growers The very first alternative offering in Ireland of the highly effective winter cereal herbicide Diflufenican.

This product is Diflanil 500 SC; Containing 500 grams per litre diflufenican.

Diflanil allows cereal growers to choose a straight diflufenican product at the rate desired and to add partner products to the mix depending on the weed  problems presented.

Cleared for use on all varieties of winter barley and winter wheat and also on winter rye and triticale; the typical rate is 0.25 litres per hectare in the autumn.

ALISTELL

For reseeded grassland, Alistell is the product of choice to control chickweed and other broadleaved weeds.

Best advice is to wait at least six weeks following reseeding, and in the autumn spray between September and December. Chickweed is particularly troublesome and tends to continue emerging and choking new grass swards over winter. Alistell contains contact weed killers which control emerged weeds and a soil acting component which helps to prevent chickweed emergence.
